A specific Aigle process that allows natural rubber to obtain its unique characteristics of comfort and strength by mixing raw rubber with various substances.

A manufacturing process that obtains thin layers of rubber with specific characteristics of thickness and width. These layers are then ready for the application of the linings.

All the components are prepared so as to allow the final assembly

Each element (reinforcements, upper, border, gusset, strap, logo, sole..) is precisely mounted on a last by hand

The boot is cured (baked) in an autoclave. It is after this vulcanization that the rubber develops its principle characteristics and watertightness, durability and flexiblility

100% of the boots are tested for waterproofness. After being boxes the boots are shipped throughout the world

Goodyear Welt construction: the assembly is done by sewing the sole and the midsole upper through using a sewn welt. A guarantee of quality, this type of assembly provides maximum adherance between the sole and the upper. Goodyear Welt assembly has been done mechanically since 1872 by a machine invented by Charles Goodyear Junior

Norwegian Welt construction: similar type of stitching to the Good Year welt. The upper assembly is fixed to the midsole's channel wall with horizontal stitching which is the first seam. The upper is then folded outwards and sewn to the sole by a second vertical seam. Both seams are visible. Norwegian stitching can be with or without welt. The tiller provides good strength and comfort. Norwegian stitched shoes support the foot well and are very water-resistant

Blake construction: the name of this technique comes from its inventor, Mr Leyman Reed Blake and dates from 1858. The upper is mounted on a midsole then glued. A stitch then passes through the sole, the upper and the midsole. Channels are often used to protect the outside seam. This assembly technique lends additional strength to the sole

Sandal construction: the upper is folded over and assembled. It is attached to the midsole by a series of small stitches, or staples or it is glued. Often an additional outsole is glued to the midsole. This type of assembly provides good flexibility

Moccasin construction: this technique is also known as tubular assembly. The stitching is often done by hand. The sole is fastened by stitching, blueing or injection

Direct vulcanization construction: direct vulcanization method offering sturdiness and durablility. This assembly perfectly links the upper and the rubber sole. This technique ensures resistance. The overflow of the rubber on the canvas is a guarantee of quality

Waterproof microporous membrane that works as a barrier against rain. The membrane prevents water passage. It is waterproof while wicking perspiration away. The foot remains dry.

Gore-Tex is a technical membrane which is both waterproof and breathable. This membrane works like human skin. Billions of microscopic pores block wind and humidity while at the same time allowing perspiration (as water vapour) to evaporate to the outside, guaranteeing active comfort whatever the weather.

Waterproof means the fabric used on the style is waterproof and avoids water penetrating the fabric

Long life, durability, shock absorbing qualities: Vibram soles have proven themeslves for years over all Outdoor terrains

Insole ensuring long term comfort and cushioning. Made in polyurethane, it absorbs moisture and allows air to circulate around the foot. Removable and 100% washable

Insole for the optimal balance of breathability and cushioning without sacrificing comfort. The breathability of the material creates a drier and a fresher environment underfoot. The insole is shock-absorbing and provides support that adapts to the shape of the foot

The texture made from non-woven polyamide of this lining makes its a great absorber of perspiration. It is fast-drying and has a comfortable, pleasant feel

It is a highly technical material made from microcellular polychloroprene rubber foam that has been lined with polyamide
