The History of Ikon Footwear
Ikon Footwear is a UK brand who thrives on developing shoes, boots and sandals for the fashion conscious. They pride themselves on making high quality footwear with designs that look great without compromising on comfort. Ikon have been around for more than 20 years and over these years have developed some stunning casual and formal shoe collections along with quirky high fashion styles.
In autumn 1997 Ikon released their first collection which proved to be very successful, following this success, in 2002 they relocated to a new warehouse and head office with a larger warehousing facility which allowed them to focus on product development, sales and distribution. In 2005 Ikon products became available to buy online reaching a much larger audience.
In 2006 they released their famous Ikon Original shoe collection which is a collection of high fashion, retro footwear with a new modern twist. Many of the styles in this collection are inspired by music genres both past and present. 2007 saw the launch of their new website in celebration of their 10th anniversary. Ikon has gone from strength to strength and has seen good growth within the footwear market.
Today the Ikon range is a large range of casual and formal shoes, boots, mod loafers and retro shoes for everyday wear whether you are out and about town or at work, Ikon footwear offers something for everyone.
