The Moab (mother of all boots) series were designed in 2006 by Merrell founder Clark Matis, as a multi-purpose sports shoe that can be used to run in and hike trails in as many conditions as possible.
The hallmark of the Moab is a precise snug fit over the instep and footbed to lock the foot in place, with space in the toe box allowing the toes to spread, giving that signature Merrell feel. The Moab sports a high quality Vibram sole, generating their signature grip, the uppers are designed with a combination of premium suede and mesh upper, and the kinetic fit base technology allows the shoe to flex naturally as you walk over a variety of terrains, while the durable materials provide the foot extra support.
