The process begins with a pre-made sole unit, then a 2mm layer of thermal foam is attached to the inner face of the sole for excellent insulation. Depending on the style, Muck Boots will then add toe Protectors, which can be made from either steel or fibreglass and they then finish their boots with the layers of rubber which are vulcanized to the boot. This process adds to the waterproof seal and generates further durability to ensure your feet stay protected for longer.
