Established in 1983 by two footwear entrepreneurs in the heart of Elche Alicante. Gonzalo Juarez and Gregorio Tomas set out to create a luxury slipper brand suitable for all ages and genders. Adopting the slogan 'Footwear used inside homes', Nordikas quickly became the go-to brand for quality slippers to relax and roam the house in.

After much research and developement, Gregorio and Gonzalo perfected 3 key technologies that would transform Nordikas footwear. Poron 4000 is a technology comprising of specialised formulations to create sustainable comfort and cushioning providing high energy return and fantastic impact absorptionl. Nordishock helps relieve the impact from your heel striking the floor, providing a more comfortable walking experience. Finally Nordiflex provides unbeatable flexibility and durablility along the outer sole unit. These all work together to provide a super comfy and long-lasting slipper. Nordikas also feature anti-microbial protection to ensure your feet stay hygenic.

Nordikas started its journey offeirng a small and simple selection of footwear, and eventually progressed into styling its ranges to cater for the fashion market. Offering excellent comfort with its super soft leather, bendy sole and breathable inners, in 2001 Nordikas expanded its operations in to new and much larger facilities. Located in Elche Industiral Park, a renowned location for many large Spanish footwear companies.

Following this expansion, the production improved with new super soft materials such as 100% virgin wool. Today Nordikas is a leading brand in ergonomical slippers and continues to be a key player in luxury home footwear.
